Molly Hooper never really thought of herself as Winnie-the-Pooh, but then she never thought of Sherlock Holmes as Christopher Robin either.  However, as soon as she read the entry in the personal column of the Metro, she knew exactly who it was meant for.

<Pooh Bear come to 100 Acre Wood immediately. Bring Eeyore. CR>

Since Sherlock had returned after his apparent suicide, Molly had hoped that the threat to him and his friends had abated.  But if he was choosing to communicate in this fashion, rather than through text or email, then that could not be the case.

She had been reading the paper whilst on the tube on her way to work, so, instead of getting off at her usual stop, she stayed on the train slightly longer.  Having exited the station she made her way to a small café down one of the side streets.  She spotted the person she wanted sitting at one of the tables enjoying an early morning cup of coffee, so walked over and bent down to speak quietly to him.

“I was hoping to find you here.  We have to go to Baker Street at once.”

The man looked up, nodded, paid his bill and they left the café together.  Once outside they hailed a cab.

Sherlock glanced out of the window of 221B and called to John, “Run down and let our visitors in.”

Mrs Hudson got there first, so John met them on the stairs.  “Hello Molly, Greg, what brings you here?”

“I received a message from Sherlock,” Molly replied.

She showed them the ad from the Metro.

“How did you know it was for you?” John asked.

In reply Molly took a piece of paper out of her diary.  On it, in Sherlock’s handwriting was written “Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”

“Sherlock gave this to me just before he went abroad.  A A Milne wrote the words for Christopher Robin to say to Winnie-the-Pooh.”

“That’s really lovely Molly; the words are very appropriate,” John said.  He looked over at Sherlock, who seemed engrossed in his phone.  John smiled, it was typical of Sherlock to write something like that, but not want anyone to know.

“John’s right,” Greg agreed and then looked at the advert again.  “But that makes me Eeyore!”

“Never mind that!” interrupted Sherlock.  “We have work to do.”
