Thirty Days Meme: Day 3 - Back to Work

I work for a charity which provides supporting living for young adults with learning difficulties.  We have four houses which they live in, plus workshops and some land which grows vegetables.  I do the accounts and some of the health and safety.

So, back to work and there are a few things I would like to finish before lunch.

Therefore, I

• get told that the bee man came at the weekend and has removed a large wasps nest


• get told that a toilet is blocked, get someone to see to it


• phone up the gas company for a quote for a replacement boiler


• help a new German volunteer use babelfish to translate self esteem


• download two useful looking H&S booklets


• answer the phone when my colleague went to buy biscuits


• speak to the man who's coming to clear the gutters tomorrow


• find a lever arch file for a resident


• find a totally different file for resident since the first one wasn't what was required


• conduct a health & safety induction for the above mentioned volunteer


• look at things to do before lunch


• go to lunch
