Just Make Up Your Mind

A few weeks ago at work I was moaned at for involving B too much, as he had a lot of things to do.  Yesterday I was moaned at for not passing things on to B, because I had a lot of finance stuff to do.

So, today, I spent ages trying to buy a gas detector alarm from British Gas.  As an individual you can buy them, but because we have a business account, we can't.  By the time I had been passed through to the third person I was told that we would have to go to B&Q to buy one.  But, of course, B&Q don't have them on their website.

And then I had to spend a considerable amount of time helping someone book a flight to China, the cheapest way possible, without spending half a day between flights.

And finally, because I had to go to the bank to pay a couple of cheques in, I also took eight large tablecloths to the dry cleaners.

All of which means that I did practically none of my own work, so the papers are in a (neat) pile on my desk.  I go on holiday next week, so there are things I need to get done before I go.  Today did nothing to make any progress in that direction.

But on the plus side, on my journey to work I did manage to sort out the final section of my Lewis Spook Me! fic in a way that should work satisfactorily.  I'm not very good at writing things that don't work logically.
