Craft - Month 12

The daughter's hat is slowly growing - there's no rush, she won't need it until the autumn:



I also knitted various egg cosies: a collection of bunnies, a lamb and then a green bunny



 

And a couple of ladybirds:

I also finished the William Morris cross stitch, which I'm very pleased with:



And have this week started a small cross stitch based on the bandstand in Tenby.  The beginnings of a tree:



Lastly, last birthday I was given some microbricks which would build a sloth.  Here is the sloth:

The egg cosies are adorable! Good luck with your granddaughter's hat, looking great so far.

The William Morris cross stitch is so pretty, colourful and vibrant with life ~ love it.

Thank you - the egg cosies were fun to make. I'm delighted you like the cross stitch, I was pleased with it. Microblocks work the same way as lego but are probably about a quarter the size.

Thank you very much. You will, of course, have already seen several of the pictures, however I find it useful to record what I've done in a month - especially when I feel like I haven't done that much, it's good to look back and see there was quite a bit :)

I agree, it can be quite surprising to see just how much you've achieved in a relatively short period of time. I would imagine you feel quite pleased with yourself now.

Yes - I was thinking I hadn't done much crafting, but then remembered the two week stitchalong which took a lot of time.

Thank you very much. The colours work really well against the dark blue background, makes the difficulty of sewing some of the colours worth it.

Thank you - the Sloth is one I saw at London Zoo - given branches etc to hang from it chose the pipe at the side of the large enclosure.

Your daughter's hat is looking wonderful so far! I love the colours and the pattern. I also think that your knitted critters are great. I especially like the bunnies and ladybirds.
