Paper Flowers
We had our first Dare to Dabble session face to face yesterday. It was lovely to go back and be able to do craft together.
My first flower has a chocolate in the middle which is surrounded by small strips of paper, cut to form the petals. It was a bit fiddly getting the paper round the chocolate.

After which I made a couple of sunflowers/daisies. These are a long strip of thick paper/thin card concertina-ed up and then with the ends stuck together to form the flower head. The dual colour one has a thinner strip on top of the wider strip and both are conceertina-ed together.

Then I made a couple of hyacinths, which again are long strips of thick paper/thin card with slots cut down about two-thirds of the way and then wound round a straw.

Which made rather a nice bouquet altogether. A very enjoyable afternoon.
