Crafts - May 2021

There's not that much to report regarding crafts for the month, although progress has been made.

I'm still, very slowly, knitting a small elephant (the size isn't the issue, the enthusiasm is), and I finished the daughter's hat, in time for her visit yesterday.  She was very pleased with it.  Photo of hat and then plus pompom.

 

There's plenty of wool left, so I shall make a smaller one for our granddaughter.  I'm also planning on doing some knitted squares for a throw.

I've written elsewhere about the Dare to Dabble paper flowers.

And my cross stitch of the bandstand at Tenby is progressing well.  I definitely think I shall do one of the others from the set as well.

Love the hat! It's going to look good on both your daughter and granddaughter. And the cross stitch is very pretty.

Thank you. Nice and easy to knit too! It's the first time I've chosen a pattern from a magazine and I'm pleased at the way it's turning out.
