Crafts - May 2021

There's not that much to report regarding crafts for the month, although progress has been made.

I'm still, very slowly, knitting a small elephant (the size isn't the issue, the enthusiasm is), and I finished the daughter's hat, in time for her visit yesterday.  She was very pleased with it.  Photo of hat and then plus pompom.

There's plenty of wool left, so I shall make a smaller one for our granddaughter.  I'm also planning on doing some knitted squares for a throw.

I've written elsewhere about the Dare to Dabble paper flowers.

And my cross stitch of the bandstand at Tenby is progressing well.  I definitely think I shall do one of the others from the set as well.

I love that it is your icon (if I'm correct?). Actually...curious, out of sewing / knitting, which do you think is "easier" to learn or does it depend on the individual? I keep eying learning kits and courses for both, but can't make my mind up (though sewing would perhaps be more useful).:)

Ooo lovely hat for yourself!

Thank you for your advice! I forgot about youtube. I think I shall look at some youtube videos and then locate a kit to start with and then invest once I know which method resonates with me x.

I forsee pricks in my fingers ;)
