Local Places - Part 8

This month's local places really is close to home, being Quedgeley.

Quedgeley is a suburb of the city of Gloucester, and close to a motorway junction.  Most of the housing has been built in the last fifty years, and many within the past twenty.  However, the parish dates back many hundreds of years.

St James Church dates from the thirteenth century.



For me, many important amenities are within walking distance.  Such as the doctor's surgery, pharmacy and dentist:



The Post Office and, very importantly, the library:

 

On the way I walk through the tiny nature reserve:

 

And, there's the option to take the path which runs parallel to the canal:

Great photos! Quedgeley seems like a nice place. I'm sure St. James Church is really interesting and that tiny nature reserve must be a pleasant part of your walk.
