13 AUG: Prosecco Day: What’s your favorite celebratory beverage?
I do like Prosecco and also Cava.  If you're paying I won't be fussy!

17 AUG: Black Cat Appreciation Day: Do you like black cats? Do you see any animal as inherently ‘bad luck’?
I like all cats.  Our neighbour's black cat frequently visits us.  The only time cats are bad luck is when you trip over them.

18 AUG: World Helicopter Day: Have you ever ridden in a helicopter?
Not yet!

19 AUG: International Orangutan Day: What animal is most likely to commit a murder?
Edgar Allan Poe did orangutans a great disservice.  Just ask the Librarian of the Unseen University on Discworld.  Ook!

My very black, very plush, very fluffy cat is a hazard when I am trying to make my way from my turned-off computer back to the hallway with only a very little light ahead of me. Nonetheless, I strenuously approve of black cats.
