Dresden really is gorgeous, it's a lovely city. I went there with my parents in 1990 and then again in I want to say 2015, the difference was incredible. The Frauenkirche was a ruin the first time and seeing it completely restored was amazing.
It is - it was my first time there. I would have liked to have a longer look at the Frauenkirche, but we didn't have enough time - maybe I'll go back sometime :)
