Zentangles
Yesterday there was another Dare to Dabble craft session, this time for zentangles.
A zentangle is a form of mindfulness, in which you begin to draw and by concentrating on what you're drawing, you see where it takes you. All that's required is a pen (such as a fine nibbed marker pen) and something to draw on. The usual way to begin is by trying out different patterns, so we began with a thick card coaster divided it into nine small squares and did a different little pattern in each square.

On the reverse I decided to be different, divide the coaster into four and do mini patterns based on nature:

Then I drew and decorated an owl (because I like owls):

And lastly I tried a leaf, once again taking more ideas from nature:
