Crafts - August 2023

I finished the back of my tank top earlier in the month and am now half way through the front (no photo of the front as the pattern is the same so far)



I also knitted a blue rose for a friend:



Cross stitch wise I did a quick bookmark for a friend, but forgot to take a photo. I also stitched our anniversary card - the anniversary isn't until October but I wanted to be prepared:



And I'm now about five-sixteenths of the way through Klimt's The Kiss

On one of my other posts I offered to make a rose for anyone who wanted one, with a choice of colour, so I'd be happy to send you one.

Yes, The Kiss is certainly challenging - fiddly, lots of dark patches, plus glittery thread!

Wow, The Kiss looks like an incredibly involved piece - kudos to you because so far it looks amazing!

It is complicated. Lots of dark parts with a mixture of black and dark brown, plus glittery gold thread. I'm pleased with the way its going.

Both the tank top and Klimt piece are progressing very nicely! The blue rose is lovely, and I really like the cross stitch. It seems like a very fitting design for an anniversary card.
