Decorated Pots

I went to the first of this year's Dare to Dabble sessions today, which was for decorated plant pots.

We began with four ceramic pots, of slightly different sizes

which we could decorate how we liked: painting, sticking on buttons and jewels, mosaics, decoupage, winding string or wool around.  I decided to begin by painting my two larger pots.

Then I added some white clouds to the blue pot

and some boats

I added flowers to the green pot

And since I'd enjoyed the painting so much, I decided to paint the other two pots as well:

And go modern art.

So here is Family Values

and Noughts and Crosses

All of which was great fun!

Playing catch up once again after a crazy couple of weeks at work. Decorating plant pots is such a great idea! It really opens up a lot of creative possibilities. You chose some beautiful colours for your pots. I really like the cloud and boat motif on the largest pot. Your modern art pots also turned out well. I love Naughts and Crosses.
