Piglet and Friends

Piglet thought he was very lucky with his friends, especially as none of them minded that he was much smaller than they were. Winnie-the-Pooh was his best, and oldest, friend, but he'd made lots of new friends too who he could enjoy being with. Of course, he could still have fun doing things all by himself, but doing them with a friend or two was even better. And he knew that if he ever was in real need there was nothing his friends wouldn't do to help him and there was nothing he wouldn't do to help them as well.

Tigger and Friends

Tigger was bouncy and happy to be friendly with everyone. After all, who wouldn't want to be friends with a tigger, and when he was the only one, he really should be friendly back. But he also knew that while most were friendly, he was lucky to have some proper friends as well. Friends who were there for him on the odd day when he didn't feel quite as bouncy and who didn't tell him to go away when they were feeling sad. He always tried very hard to be kind and not as bouncy when his friends were sad.

Winnie-the-Pooh and Friends

Winnie-the-Pooh felt having friends was the best thing. Then he thought a bit more, quite slowly, for he was a bear of very little brain, and thought honey was the best thing. Only honey without friends would feel lonely. Which meant honey and friends were both best. Really they came together; his friends would always offer him honey when it was time for a little something. And when there had been lots of rain and his honey jars had tried to float away, his friends had come to help catch them. So friends and honey were what was most important.

Tigger and Friends

Eeyore didn't really have friends. By nature he was solitary and lived quite happily on his own amongst his thistles. He didn't need anyone to come and disturb him. But he did miss them when they didn't call round and sometimes, just sometimes, when he hadn't seen anyone for a day or two he would go for a walk, just to have a change of scenery. And see if anything had happened. Then he could always nod and say he wasn't surprised, these things happened, and he'd stay and chat for a bit, because it wouldn't be polite not to.
