11 SEPT: Libraries Remember Day: Do you have a favorite library?
My local library - 20 minutes walk from home, or I pass it in the car as well.  They're very helpful and will always sort out why my reserved book seems stuck on a library shelf (not necessarily the library it belongs to).  Over of a third of the books I've read this year have been from the library.

12 SEPT: School Picture Day: Do you have a favorite school picture (yours or someone else’s)?

15 SEPT: Cheese Toast Day: Have you ever had cheese toast?
I'm very fond of cheese grilled on toast, especially in winter

17 SEPT: Voter Registration Day: Do you vote?
Yes.  My great-aunt was a Suffragette, I'm not going to let her down.

Oh, that's so cool that your great-aunt was a Suffragette! I would often remember that my grandmother was in school before women could vote in the US (she was born in 1913, women got the vote in 1920).

I think it's sweet that schools offer photos of sibling groups where you are. They don't do it here - only individual photos, regardless of how many children are in school together. That would be nice if it was an option.

Here, grilled cheese on toast is often served with tomato soup. Is that a thing over there?

I never knew her - I believe I met her when I was very young, but that was all. It's still something to be proud of.

Not all schools do groups, we were lucky for that one.

Yes, tomato soup and grilled cheese are popular together - both warming on a winter's day.

Thank you. No, I don't dunk mine, I prefer to keep my tastes separate, although I like both.

The other women in the family weren't as militant, but were all strong characters - which has come down to The Daughter (who may look very sweet in her photo but you wouldn't want to argue with her even then!)
