The Friday Five: Advice

This week's thefridayfive 

1) What's the best idea you've got from the internet?
If a fic's not for you, use the back button and leave others to their own pleasures.

2) What's the best advice you've heard from someone much older than you?
Be yourself, everyone else is already taken (Oscar Wilde)

3) What advice would you give your younger self?
Do what is right for you, don't do something simply to conform.

4) What advice have you received, but chose not to take?
Anything when I'm told not to take a risk.  Because I'm quite able to make my own decisions, and get advice from those who actually know what the risks are.  A good risk assessment minimises the chance of something going wrong while still permitting the activity to go ahead.

5) Do you need advice on anything going on in your life these days?
Not advice, but suggestions as to what my new goals for next year could be, and in particular anything people would be interested in me blogging about.  (See here)
