My third goal for the year 2023/24 was to do something slightly different each month, which for me means not staying within my usual parameters, rather than doing anything well outside my comfort zone.

I've been continuing to walk on days when I'd otherwise not leave the house, apart from one day when we had planned to go out in the afternoon but it was too hot, so I made sitting outside in the morning as far as I went.  I've continued to walk along the canal some days, photos of swans below, and recently I've walked to the library as I had books to collect.

This month I've done three slightly different things - none particularly challenging, but more in the sense of keeping the attitude of doing something different so I don't get into the sense of 'I can't do it because it's new'.
1) I joined a faith based zoom meeting which meets once a month
2) I had lunch in the café before my Dare to Dabble session, joining some of the other dabblers
3) I've said I'll to to the Bishop's Garden Party

And here are the swans.  You will notice that there are only four cygnets in the later two photos as they have lost one.  Although there is only one adult swan in those photos they are both there, but now the cygnets have grown the parents no longer keep as close, but are near enough should anything approach them.
