Meme Answers (Part 1)

smallhobbitLast month I set one of those 15 characters memes (whereby I listed 15 characters and my flist suggested questions based up character numbers). There were quite a number of questions, so I've decided to split the answers into two parts. This is particularly useful because I cheated slightly and used both ACD and BBC versions of the Sherlock Holmes characters. Today's answers are all ACD Holmes. Part 2 will be posted on Sunday.
Guy of Gisborne (Robin Hood) and Sam Tyler (Life on Mars) meet for the first time - is it love or hate, and why?snailbones
Guy and Sam take one look at each other and just know they’ll never get on. Neither will listen to the other and both are equally convinced they’re right. When persuaded to go to the pub as part of a group they spend the whole time deliberately ignoring each other.
Adam Carter (Spooks) & Henry Morgan (Forever) play cards. What game, who wins, who cheats? Okapi
They play cribbage and are evenly matched. Adam’s good at calculating the odds, but takes the occasional risk, Henry has years of experience. In the end both resort to cheating, realise what’s happening and because they’ve both been steadily drinking end up cheerfully drunk.
Sherlock Holmes and Gene Hunt (Life of Mars) are hosting a dinner party in honour of Guy of Gisborne. How does this pan out? Debriswoman
About as well as you might expect. Holmes arranges a private room in a suitable restaurant, puts in an order for the food, stays for the minimum acceptable time and then rushes off on a case. Gene Hunt has organised the drink, so he and Guy get drunk and stay until thrown out of the restaurant.
Bilbo Baggins (The Hobbit), Mycroft Holmes, Thorin Oakenshield (The Hobbit) and Lucas North (Spooks) are putting together a big dance number. Who thinks they're the best dancer, and who is the best dancer? And who partners up with whom?scfrankles
Thorin is convinced he’s the best dancer, but dwarves aren’t known for being light on their feet, and this one certainly isn’t. Mycroft is surprisingly the best dancer and makes an excellent anchor for the others. Bilbo and Thorin partner each other and muddle through somehow or other. Mycroft and Lucas partner each other and Mycroft gently pushes Lucas in the right directions.
Henry Morgan, Much (Robin Hood) and Thorin are stuck in a broken lift together. What happens? Classics Lover
Henry, who has all the time in the world, sits down to wait. Thorin bangs loudly on the doors, whilst Much runs around in small circles. Then Much bangs on the doors and Thorin paces in small circles. Henry gets a headache.

For a secret Santa gift exchange, Adam Carter has Thorin Oakenshield. What would the gift be?mafief
Adam thinks of buying him a set of antlers and a Rudolf nose, but decides against it. In the end he buys him a mug, which he fills with chocolate coins.
