Book Exchange

I've done this on Twitter, but in case there's anyone here who would be interested, I'm repeating for all to see:

Hello! I’ve participated in a huge, international book exchange. You can too. You can be anywhere in the world. All you have to do is buy/gift your favourite book (just one) and send it to a stranger (I'll send their details through in a DM). Are you in?

The idea is that I send you A's address for a book (in this case they're in the UK, so there would be postage), you then post this message to your twitter/DW/wherever and if someone says they'll do it you give them my address for a book, and so it goes on. The book doesn't need to be new, second-hand is fine.

Hi! Two questions:
1) what if I don't have and don't want to have an account on Twitter?

2) I presume the book would have to be in English?
(words like "international" and "anywhere in he world" sound so grand, but in the end it boils down to a common language, right?)

1) You wouldn't have to use Twitter - I was sharing the source of the exchange.

2) In this case the book would have to be in English, because the recipient is an English speaker. Theoretically it could be any language, but if the intention was to share something you liked the reader would need to be able to understand it.
