Snowflakes make for great cards! You'll need to get some double-sided sticky tape, preferably acid free, to mount the stitched piece in the cards. I get mine off ebay, it's not expensive.
Yes, I'll be posting pictures, probably before the cards go to their recipients because the people they're for don't lurk on these sites. It's just a case of stitching them and turning the stitching into cards. The first one is started, that's for December. The second is for my sister next April, but it's a more complicated piece so it'll take longer. It's also on 20 count which makes it harder with the low levels of natural light at this time of year. The one I'm working on is on 18 count, which is a little easier on the eyes.
I'm sure you'll have fun with the paints when you can find the time.
