fan_flashworks is the number of Kudos I've received lately. It's very flattering - but then 16 ficlets is bound to produce something. What has been particularly satisfying is when someone likes one ficlet and proceeds to read more of the same - in the latest case I seem to have produced a Guy/Much convert.
The disadvantage is I really don't feel like writing much at the moment. Which is unfortunate, as I need to finish mysmallfandombang fic this month. There are 11,500 words written, so I'm passed the minimum; I just need my characters to agree to draw it to a close. I tried, but "nah!" I tried again "ooh, yes, and then what about?" At this point I'm going to send them all to bed - either separately or together, I really don't care - and tell them to get it sorted in the morning.
Apart from that I don't have any particular plans for the year, which I suspect is why my writing dried during the spring and summer. So flist, time for your thoughts. - I'm very fond of my Sussex Retirement ACD 'verse. Up to now it's been almost entirely based on prompts from older_not_dead but the remaining ones don't inspire me/fit into the 'verse. At some point I need to write the history of Hopkins and Annie Fuller.
- We've just been looking at His Last Bow on sherlock60 which reminded me of the 60 I wrote last time Aftermath. I'm considering expanding on this.
