At a loss as to what to say (But don't worry!)

 I've started this blogpost a couple of times, but couldn't decide what to ramble about.

Should I talk about spending my hard-earned cash (I'm getting a new phone, because shiny and on offer; and we're getting the gas boiler replaced)?  I could mention a little about my grandfathers and father and other relatives.  Maybe I could mutter about Dreamwidth, but really I've said most of it before.

I don't even have any memes lined up to do.

So instead I'm throwing it open to you, dear flist.  Is there anything you'd like to know about me?  Ask away, and I'll attempt to answer in the comments.  Or if I've got lots to say on the subject then I might even give it a post of its own.

I looked at the title of your post and then the first half of the first sentence and was so worried that you were going to write about some type of tragedy. Glad I was so wrong!

I guess my question is this: when did you first start getting into ACD Holmes, reading or writing or both?

Oops - sorry about that. I've now amended the title to avoid worrying anyone else.

The quick answer would be August 2011 (I've just tracked back) as properly getting into. But since this would be a great subject to post on I shall write more in the next few weeks.

I suspect that I was the only one who jumped to that conclusion. I'm a bit of a pessimist, I guess? But I am excited to hear more about your adventures in ACD Holmes land!

I am not amending the title to read "At a loss as to what to say (But don't worry!) [Not sarcastic]"!

If it was anything serious, I'd almost certainly title it as some form of update. In this case it's almost the opposite - nothing much has happened, so I have nothing particular to ramble on about.

I shall therefore use a dramatic icon - the Reichenbach Falls.
