Is it time to panic yet?
Dec. 10th, 2013 09:04 amI really ought to write my Christmas cards and then there's the cake to make, oh, and the presents to wrap. And we have our work's Christmas dinner Friday evening and I'm going to London on Saturday. Do I run round in every decreasing circles or do I borrow Snail's sand bucket and stick my head in it?
Meanwhile, at work, we have a 37 page document to complete to retender for work for the local council. It asks for things like "do you critical suppliers have a business contingency plan that confirms to BSxxxx?" How are we supposed to know whether British Gas do - if they don't we aren't going to be the only ones with problems. And by the way council, according to the BSI, BSxxxx has been withdrawn, superceded by ISzzzz.
However, I have bought the gingerbread people for decorating on Wear Your Christmas Jumper To Work Day. There are always good things with my job.
