The Friday Five: A Mixed Bag

• What's your favorite colour this week?

Blue, it's always blue.  Although I like red and yellow too.

• What job would be very unsuitable for you?

Opera singer.  The kids used to say 'Mother, don't sing!'

• What's your favorite Olympic sport?

I'm not sure I have one.  Although I have been toying with a combined Modern Pentathlon (slightly altered) which begins with Mouselet travelling on an arrow fired by Dr Watson (she's wearing a special bat suit).  She passes the baton to the Ferret who rides a donkey to meet the Sloth, who swims with the baton across to the Ocelot, who runs across wild terrain to deliver the baton to Sherlock Holmes.  Holmes then fences his way to the winning post.

• Have you ever found yourself stuck out in the rain?

Yes, a few months ago I lost my doorkey when SM and I were walking to the library.  Despite retracing our steps we couldn't find it and had to wait for son to come and let us back in.  It was, of course, raining heavily.

• What does the tooth fairy do with our teeth?

I've never been rude enough to ask.
