The Friday Five: Co-operation etc
Jan. 8th, 2022 04:55 pmAnd now to this week's
thefridayfive
1) What's something you should accept help for?
Changing lightbulbs and car repairs. In the former it's safer than balancing precariously on a chair and for the latter there are others much more competent than I am - and besides which I brought up a son who adores all things mechanical so he might as well have some uses.
2) If you start a project and someone offers to add to it, do you feel proud or stepped on?
Since recently the offers have all been to amend things to their own ways of thinking of how things could be better, without making an effort to understand why they were done in a certain way, generally just *** annoyed.
3) What are some things you should let go?
Making excuses for people when they're not prepared to be honest for why they don't do something after all.
4) What's an idea you had that you really wish people would have supported?
That would probably get too political. I think Take Your Dragon To Work Day would be great!
5) What's an outfit you put on that keeps you warm?
The daughter gave me a lovely top for Christmas - it's aqua and white stripes and very warm. I've worn it nearly every day since, the only day when I haven't worn it at all was the day I washed it.
