Birthday thanks

smallhobbitThank you all for the good wishes on my birthday, it's very kind of you all. So thank you to daria , Pandabob, Murphybabe, scfrankles and grondfic for their best wishes. brumeier and rusty_armour both included pics of Lucas in their wishes, which have now, for some unknown reason, made it onto my phone as wallpaper.
And I've been thrilled to receive fics as well.
mafief wrote a sweet story about a grasshopper who encounters the Ferret and then the rest of the Gang. A Hopper's Tale
vix_spes wrote Cling to Me which is a lovely Lucas/Adam story, with a slight twist (it is Hallowe'en), but it remains domestic fluff and thus ideal.
And Okapi wrote Lucas & the Happy Eggs which is another Lucas/Adam fic. This is absolutely hilarious - they have taken a number of my fics in which I delight in hurting poor Lucas and melded them together with a few other items recognisable from my fics. And it ends happily. I also need to thank Debriswomana for beta-ing in a fandom she knows nothing about.
So a good birthday. And there was cake (bought for me by the two guys I work with):

So ready yourselves for my attempts at Origami. The book is from my mother - I sent her my wishlist and let her choose. No present from SM as yet - he finally ordered something from my wishlist on Sunday evening, which strangely enough hasn't arrived yet.
