First Steps
May. 21st, 2018 04:05 pmOne of my goals for this year was to work on my arts and crafts, and to that end I shall be posting a monthly progress report. This means I can't opt out without feeling bad. I do realise it's only myself I'm cheating on, but if it works don't knock it.
Firstly, I've begun my cross stitch. The kit came with 16pt Aida. That really is too small for me to see to work on, so I bought myself some 14pt. Here's how it's begun, which I'm pleased about:

I read the other comments, and I don't use a hoop either for small pieces. I manage better without. I use a frame for large projects though, I don't like the way hoops mark the fabric.
