Meme Answers (Part 3)
Jul. 20th, 2018 05:33 pmThe last four questions, two of each were easy to answer, two caused a slight problem, but I've got over (or round) that!
Firstly, from
scfrankles Adam Carter (Spooks) and Greg Lestrade are learning a new language together. What language and why?
They met at an evening class, but Greg was curious as to why Adam, who was clearly good at languages, was there. Adam picked up on Greg's suspicions, but a tactful meeting between the two was held (somehow Mycroft was involved) and they agreed to carry on going. Adam was learning Danish as part of an ongoing Section D enquiry, and Greg fancied watching some of the Scandi detective stories without having to read the subtitles all the time.
Next one of two questions from
dariaw Sister Evangelina (Call the Midwife) and Harry Potter flirt but never actually ask each other out. Who yells at one or both to stop being ridiculous and admit their feelings.
In fact, although both are happy flirting with each other, neither has any wish to go any further. It entertains them to do so, even more so when various friends and colleagues tell them they're being ridiculous. Since neither is being hurt and it also helps to cheer people up at the end of a hard day they aren't bothered. As Sister Monica Joan said, "Even Our Lord would have had a laugh with the disciples, after all, He called them His friends."
And
dariaw 's second question: Severus Snape and the Ocelot have been together for a long time. Who usually drives, who has the best advice on driving someone wild in bed, and who is the cuddler?
That the Ocelot and Snape have been living together for a long time may come as a surprise to many. Since both like to keep their home life private, the arrangement suits them very well. On the rare occasions when they go anywhere together, Snape drives. The Ocelot is surprisingly knowledgeable on a range of matters, which include sexual proclivities, and has been known to make suggestions when requested. Neither is much of a cuddler, but on cold nights Snape will huddle up to the Ocelot for warmth.
Lastly, a very easy question from
castiron : Lucas North (Spooks) and Stanley Hopkins (Met River Police) are out shopping. Which shop does Lucas want to spend far more time in than Stanley does, and how does Stanley persuade him to leave?
They both enjoy going to a bookshop. But whereas Stanley will content himself with buying two or three books, Lucas will end up with an armful and still be trying to buy more. At that point Stanley will casually mention a café he's found which has wonderful cakes and Lucas hurries off to pay.
