Continuing Activities - Month Six (Part One)

I shall have finished two FutureLearn courses next week, so I will post about them then, but in the meantime I've reached the halfway point in my cross stitch, and I felt that deserved a post to itself!

I'm quite impressed with how fast I've been progressing recently.  There's no guarantee this will continue, and we're away for a week at the end of the month so nothing will be done then, but now I can be reasonably hopeful I shall finish before the end of next year.

I've stitched things like that. You really need bright daylight when sorting the threads. Light bulbs just don't show the colours.

And trying to work out which colour stitch is which on an intricate bit of pattern.

Oh yeah, I go cross-eyed trying to figure than out on a complicated pattern >.

Lovely. I like the contrast of the small flowers and large flowers.

Thank you. Yes, I think the contrast works well - it also gives a variety when stitching.
