Craft - Month 4

Last month I knitted some very small parrots, about 1" (2cm), so I thought it might be fun to knit a family for my granddaughter:



The biggest is about 2" (4cm), and you can see him(her) in my icon together with the smaller version.

After which I decided to try some mindfulness colouring



And drawing some Kawaii animals:



Before returning to knitting:


The iced doughnuts are again about 1" across.  I had to reduce the patterns for the ice cream and the slice of cake to make them the same size.  I'm saving these to give to my granddaughter, possibly for Christmas.

I have another mindfulness picture to colour and then next month I shall be looking at cross stitch Christmas presents and knitted Christmas decorations.

Thank you - she was very taken with the parrots, who were Mummy, big sister and little sister apparently.

Thank you - yes, definitely twee. I had to amend the patterns for both the ice cream and the slice of cake so they were the same size as the doughnuts.

I have no idea how you manage to knit such tiny things. Your fine motor skills must be amazing!
I would have loved such toys as a kid though.

The knitting itself isn't too much of a problem - sewing the parts together can be tricky though.

Youngest has been asking for knitted food for one of the stuffed animals, and if I'm going to knit some I should probably do it this year before kid is too old to be interested.

All of the artwork and crafts are wonderful! The parrots, iced donuts, etc. look great! I'm sure your granddaughter will be thrilled with all of them! She's probably old enough now to appreciate them. :-)
