Not Snowflake but Wintry

I have taken part in very few of the Snowflake Challenges this year.  So instead, have some photos.

Taken just before the New Year - freezing fog over the small stream:



Then about a week into the new year the canal froze, much to the surprise of the seagulls!

 

It warmed up a bit, and I went for a walk along the side of the canal.

 

And we had some snow last Sunday - spot the footprints of the giant pigeon!

Thank you very much. A lot of places had more now than we did - being not far from the river we're relatively sheltered.
