smallhobbitI had wondered whether to comment, since this year I had hardly participated, incorporting Day 4 into my own goal update post, and then combining Days 8 and 9. And I am very grateful for those who responded with links to their national Girl Guide/Girl Scout websites.
But then I looked back at last year, to discover I'd only written about two of the days then as well, although I have a feeling I may have simply made a reply on the original Snowflake post on a couple of days.
This was my fourth year of Snowflake, and looking back I found at the end of my first year I'd written it was an interesting challenge, but one I wasn't sure I'd do again. I suspect this was a reasonable reflection. The following year I also participated in two-thirds of the posts, having made the conscious decision to only do the posts which seemed relevant. I also think that temperamentally I am better suited to the intense two weeks (plus a day) rather than a whole month.
Looking back I think that while I enjoy reading the responses of my flist, I came to the right conclusion at the end of the first year, it's a good challenge, but not one for me.
