Day 8: Crack!fic - We all know it. What's your opinion of it, and if you want, show us an example.
I do like crack!fic and very happily write it. In fact, at times I've been encouraged to write itbrumeier I'm looking at you! The Air Balloon Debate is written from the POV of a hot air balloon and features two parrots called Sherlock and John.
One caveat I have is that the crack!fic must conform to its own internal logic. However, once that's fulfilled then the world is your oyster, or indeed a consultation by mirror Tigger Holmes and the Case of the Unexplained Soldier
Many of the works the Ferret is involved with could be termed crack: The Coat of Many Colours And there's werewolf!Lucas, who loves parties: Lucas' Birthday Cake
Lastly, I do like a fic where the main characters end up as rabbits. As apparently do my readers, since this is my fourth most kudosed fic: Gandalf's Small Mistake
