Award Presentation
Sep. 16th, 2021 02:23 pmDuring the recent Carpe Diem posts, I've written several times about Gloucestershire Bundles, but this is the big one, because yesterday was the formal award presentation of our Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.

In the middle is the Lord Lieutenant of Gloucestershire who presented the award, on the left in the red top is Dawn holding the certificate, and on the right is Stacey holding the award. (Not my photo)
This is the award (which is engraved crystal) and the certificate, personally signed by the queen.

We had a bit of a celebration:

For this year there were additional badges (given out later) for those volunteers who continued to volunteer throughout the pandemic. Which means I now have something very few people will receive.
