This is last Friday's
thefridayfive but I've just got around to it.
1) Who is your favorite relative?
That's difficult to say. When they were younger both kids reckoned I preferred the other one, which I always thought was a triumph of parenting.
2) What's the farthest you've traveled for a family gathering?
We don't tend to do family gatherings - partly because both daughter and daughter-in-law work in the health service so they tend not to be off together at the usual gathering dates. Thinking about it the last biggest family meet ups have been funerals - neither of them particularly recent.
3) Will you/when will you put up decorations for December holidays?
When they come down from the loft, so probably about three days before Christmas. Although a few remain up all year - there's definitely still tinsel from last year. They stay up until Twelfth Night.
4) What were you thankful for this week?
I had a really fun zoom dance class led by a dancer from Matthew Bourne's New Adventures.
5) What is your hometown known for?
My hometown is London, but narrowing it down, I was born in Charing Cross Hospital which is mentioned in the Sherlock Holmes stories.
