smallhobbit | Writing - December 2021

Finally this month my word count has increased to about 13.5K so by the end of the month I should reach 140K for the year. This will be my lowest figure for about six years, but as I've been saying over the last months I cannot write and craft at the same time.

This month's figure is due in part to Twelve Additional Days of Christmas, the first of which was published on AO3 today. There will be one each day until 6 January.

The Marylebone Monthly Illustrated Christmas supplement Noah and the Amazing Multi-Coloured Dream Boat is now complete with the usual dodgy scenery and bad verse.

My only other writing has been drabbles and ficlets for

watsons_woes WAdvent where John Watson (BBC Sherlock) is having a disastrous Christmas Eve due to Stanley Hopkins' cat Tilly. Christmas Eve

I think next year I shall set my target as 135K, being half way between 120K and 150K.
