Sherlock: His Last Vow

smallhobbitI had hoped that I would, if not enjoy this final episode, at least jog along reasonably well. From the reaction on Twitter most thought it good. I didn't. The best bits for me were lifted from the original ACD canon stories, the others seemed recycled. I feel as if the writers have created this amazing character in Sherlock, but their writing is unable to keep up with his brilliance. And there was hardly any Lestrade.
Favourite bit, the very last few seconds - and probably for all the wrong reasons.
After series 2 I wrote because I had things to work through, this time I have no inclination to write at all. I can see myself continuing in my AU verses, and obviously it doesn't affect my ACD stories, but that may well be all.
And it may be that my opinion changes over the next few weeks. Time will tell.
