The fun of blogging

When I first started writing entries "Five times a fortnight" I was rather dubious.  Did I really want to share so much about myself?  Would anyone be even vaguely interested?

But to my surprise it has been fun.  It's led to interactions with people I would never have expected.  As Drayce has said, it's like have coffee with friends and sitting and chatting.  But these are friends separated my hundreds and thousands of miles, different time zones possibly different universes, although could just be me.

And it doesn't require an hour or two from a busy day, because nice though it is to meet people, it's not always possible.  And the response to a blog post can so often produce a smile when it's needed.

And the nice thing about my flist (who are of course all lovely), is that they have such varied interests.  Which means that whatever I choose to rabbit on about there'll always be someone who knows what I'm talking about.  (I mean this of course in a very loose fashion, my thought processes, rather like my handwriting, can take some deciphering).
