Six months on!
Oct. 3rd, 2014 07:41 pmI think having these goals is helping, or maybe it's just focussing the mind, but I do seem to have made some progress.

fan_flashworks has certainly encouraged me with this. I've written in eight different fandoms, and with the current challenge 'sweet and sour' I'm about to tackle my ninth - The Crimson Field. It really is good, because it's taken me into all sorts of directions I wouldn't have gone.

spook_me lewis_challenge Fright Fest and intoabar. Just in case I get bored.
Goal 2 - I'm beginning to get the hang of this PCC business. I may survive the year unscathed.
Goal 3 - Learn some German. I worked my way through all three of the beginner Open University free German courses, plus the one on the BBC website. I have some idea, which hopefully will be sufficient. We go in nine days time and I can buy drink and cake. And a train ticket.
My long-term goals remain long-term. We didn't join with the autumn county Brownie activity, because the organisers failed to get the information out until three weeks before it was scheduled. And since our pack didn't start again until ten days before the event we decided it would be totally impractical. We did however go to the district birthday party which was fun.
