Writing - Month Eight
Dec. 23rd, 2019 02:39 pmNovember was a poor word month, but I've more than made up for it in December, so I should be close to 160,000 for the year which is good. My original goal for the year was 150,000 so I'm happy.

yuletide fics are done, and I will post belated links next month because they've not been revealed yet.
There's been a festive feel to a number of my fics this month: Sloth's Christmas Miscellany is now complete, entries being written for various challenges. For WAdvent atwatsons_woes I've been writing a short serial: The Gift in the Box (BBC Sherlock), the final chapter will be done for the last Open Prompt at the end of the month. And with whatif_au having Winter Holiday as its theme I wrote A Durin Christmas Carol.
A lot of the words this month have gone towards A Further Twelve Days of Christmas . Eleven of the twelve ficlets are written and the first will be revealed on December 26.
Next year I shall aim for 150,000 words again, but won't be stressing to make them.
