Views of the Water - April

This year's photo them is Views of the Water, so I'm beginning with a splash!

Gloucester to Sharpness Canal on two different days:

   

Travelling from Dover to Calais

   

The Mohne Reservoir and the Edersee

   

River Elbe in Dresden and River Spree in Berlin

   

Mittelland Canal (I think) and River Rhine

   

and finally Dunkirk

I am most impressed with Dover! Something I have only read about. It's a really good theme for a photo series, the right compromise between specific and general.

The white cliffs really are impressive.

I'm glad you like the theme. There will be rather less photos usually, as I won't be travelling as much.

Yes, they're really dramatic, and the last thing you see when leaving Dover, so very notable.
