Writing - January 2021
Jan. 25th, 2021 12:26 pmIt's been a quiet month for writing so far - I've written about 7,500 words so far, but that's fine - it's been balanced by a lot of craft, especially knitting listening to audiobooks. And I haven't had much that I've particularly been interested in writing.
My
heroinebigbang is coming along nicely - I just need to tie it up and that will be just over the 5K I signed up for. I do however need to Do Something with my main OCs, which may take more words than I'm planning...

flash_fiction I'm thinking of using it to expand various 'verses I currently write in.
whatif_au had a Role Reversal challenge. It's not a category I'm a great fan of, particularly to write, so once again I took refuge in Hamlet and made Hamlet and Horatio female, while Ophelia was male. The outcome wasn't quite what I initially expected : Limited Choices

ficlet_zone I decided to have a go at writing Chief Inspector MacDonald, who, as far as I can see, had not yet been acknowledged by AO3: A Brand New Bed of Roses
All of which brings me to 997 works on AO3. I have my
chocolatebox ficlet, plus two treats already submitted, so by the middle of next month I will reach the 1,000, although I suspect it will happen before then.
