New Activities - Month Eight

Firstly, at the beginning of the month SM and I went to their fundraising family craft day, and made some fun crafts:



Then yesterday I went to a Christmas crafts from found materials afternoon and made:



Which is two aliens (the orange slices over the cranberries) being married by their priest (purple sparkled cork) under a mistletoe bough.

Three oranges with cloves:

     

And a more traditional hanging decoration:


 All great fun!  The Dare to Dabble programme is now out for 2020, so I've booked onto five of the sessions, which will mean more crafty fun next year.

It was great fun - a really happy couple of hours.

Thank you - you may not be surprised to know I was alone in creating something like that. Although the person who leads the session did take a photo of it - she takes a lot of children's classes, so it may provide inspiration ;)

Thank you. I wouldn't do it if I hadn't booked on the afternoon. It's very relaxing to know I have no responsibilities other than not to get glitter everywhere and not to get glued to my creations!

All lovely but I especially liked the candle and pinecone. Clove oranges! I've yet to put them in a fic this December. That must be remedied toot sweet. Glad you have more craft adventures ahead.

I especially love the aliens. I am very into card making (though not for Christmas because our list is too long) so I'm always interested in details of crafts like this!
