Growing Cygnets

There are a pair of swans in the canal close to us and this year I've been following their progress with their family of seven cygnets.  The quality of the photos depend on where we saw them, but here are ten weeks of growing cygnets.

We first saw them at the end of May:



Two days later:



And another two days - two photos to show just how fluffy they were:

The next time we saw them was about three weeks later:

I love your cygnet photos! You got some fantastic shots! :-D It's great to see their progress as they grow. It must be nice to be able to look in on this swan family whenever you visit the canal.

Thank you very much. We don't always see the family when we're up at the canal - now their cygnets are growing they cover quite a long distance, so it depends where we walk whether they are there. It's been great recording how quickly they grow.
