Writing - December 2020

Total words for the year is an amazing 175,251 which is my second highest ever.  I had a few very good months, and being stuck at home over the summer certainly contributed to that, so I'm very pleased.  My goal for next year will still be 150,000 which I can achieve in a stress free way, and allows for a couple of months of low productivity.

My poi_fanworks  Advent calendar contribution was In The Muddy Backyard where Bear digs up something unexpected.

It being December there was, of course, the Sloth's Further Festive Miscellany, featuring contributions from all the gang, including a tale about Hedgehog Holmes, who is developing a life of his own.

This month I've written all the Yet Another Twelve Days of Christmas ficlets for friends.  Six have been posted, there are six more to come. 

whatif_au had a Holiday Mythology challenge, so I indulged my sense of the ridiculous and wrote Mycroft Christmas and the Reindeer.

Looking forward, which is what traditionally happens around now, I plan to continue with the current challenges I do, finish my heroinebigbang mini bang and do some ad hoc exchanges which particularly appeal.  chocolateboxcomm is coming up, which I always look forward to and I shall be continuing with fan_flashworks

Wow! That's a seriously impressive word count! I think I only managed about 30,000 - and part of that didn't include fanfic. In any case, you should be very proud of your accomplishment. :-D
