Writing - February 2022

smallhobbitWords wise this has been much better than last month, with about 12.3K written, bringing my total for two months to 20K. Since we plan to be away for part of next month I doubt the March total will be high.
The first half of the month I was taking part in the Three Sentence Ficathon:

chocolateboxcomm was Cyril's Surprise a the Midwife ficlet. A couple of challenge communities had prompts this month, so for story_works I wrote Friendship (which was the theme) a Sussex retirement 'verse ACD Holmes ficlet. whatif_au had a teacher AU challenge, for which I wrote The Start of a New Term BBC Sherlock, but set in a village school of the 1950s, so essentially a Fairacre/Thrush Green fusion.
My major work for the month was forushobwri which has a Wiped into shape month, for completing a WiP. And because I was keen to work on my Spooks sentinel/guide 'verse I wrote Broken which I finally managed to finish this evening - a bit touch and go as I wanted it done by the end of the month.
