This week I went to see Paddington - the Musical with The Daughter.  It was great fun.  The first half was good, but the second half really took off.  Particular highlights for me were Bonnie Langford as Mrs Bird, Timi Akinyosade as Tony and Brenda Edwards as Tanya.  Plus, of course, Arti Shah, who was inside the Paddington costume.

I wasn't aware of it until The Daughter messaged me to ask if I'd like to go. It opened last November, so very recent.

I'm a big fan of Carrie Hope Fletcher and her brother Tom Fletcher is one of the creators of this musical (and thus I've read a bit about it). So happy to live vicariously through your post and see that it was good!

It was very good, with some great songs. My particular favourites were 'The Rhythm of London' and 'It's Never Too Late' and I'm sure others will have their own.

Yes. Premiered in London last November. I knew nothing about it until Daughter phoned and suggested we go.
