Copper Embossing
Feb. 17th, 2023 06:56 pmYesterday's craft session was copper embossing, which involves a sheet covered in copper and then formed into a raised picture:
We began by practising on tin foil:

which, when reversed appears like this:

We were then let loose to enjoy ourselves:

Firstly by practising with a small square of copper:

I liked my snail, so I made a card:

And then with a larger piece of copper:





Another very successful and enjoyable afternoon!
