Copper Embossing

Yesterday's craft session was copper embossing, which involves a sheet covered in copper and then formed into a raised picture:

We began by practising on tin foil:



which, when reversed appears like this:



We were then let loose to enjoy ourselves:



Firstly by practising with a small square of copper:

   

I liked my snail, so I made a card:



And then with a larger piece of copper:

The copper embossing is beautiful! This medium seems really versatile and something that could have a lot of potential. Your artwork does work well on cards. I especially like the card with the Easter egg on the front.
