Short Trip to Wales
Feb. 2nd, 2024 05:00 pmWe had an overnight stay in Wales this week. On the way down we called in to see the sea at Llanelli Beach:

but the sea had gone out. We had a blowy walk along by the beach anyway.
The following day we visited Aberglasney Gardens, where we've been a few times before

There are a lot more flowers in bloom than we have

Masses of snowdrops everywhere

Not to mention the croci

And these lovely iris reticulata (dwarf irises, only about 4 inches high)

Date: 2024-02-08 05:57 pm (UTC)I love the sheer gothic moodiness of your photo of Llanelli Beach! You also took some beautiful pics at Aberglasney Gardens. I think the first two are my favourites, though it's wonderful to see all those flowers in bloom.
